For the first time, Signarama, a leading provider of full service sign and advertising products has co-located its franchise conference with the Visual Impact show in Melbourne in September 2015.

Signarama franchisees gathered from all around the globe to attend this grand conference. Franchisees from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and USA were all present to learn, benefit, support their fellow franchisees and be part of the carnival of success.

The 3-day conference involved seminars, presentations and motivational speeches. The opening keynote address was delivered by the CEO of United Franchise Group Ray Titus, and delivered a very powerful presentation, focusing on leadership and vision.

National Director of Australia Evan Foster discussed in detail the 5 key areas that will make a franchisee successful. These include growth, engagement with the brand, mastery of your numbers, build supporters and personal vitality.

VP of Global Operations, Marcel Portmann joined, giving his input and sharing his experiences with the group, along with other key speeches from Master Franchisee for New Zealand Grant Archibald. Patrick Ryan, Australia’s United Franchise Group Regional Vice President, led a discussion about planning and preparation of selling your business and Ian Tagliabue, breaking down the 10 and a half tips to production efficiency.

Hall of Fame franchisees Maggie & Brian Harlow shared their experiences in sales, growth and operational efficiency. They have been opened since 2003 in Louisville, Kentucky and made the trip down to take part in this dynamic event. This store was the first Signarama owner to achieve $1million in sales in their first year of operation. Maggie discussed how finding your own strengths and weaknesses is the first and most important step in managing relationships with your customers, suppliers and employees.

Signarama Brand President Jim Tatem delivered the final keynote and as always, it was very motivational. The key message from Jim’s speech was that change is always going to happen. Change is good and depending on how we deal with change will determine our success.

The country’s largest signage group concluded the event by honouring its best and brightest at their Gala Awards dinner, where the top prize of Most Valuable Player (MVP) was taken by the team from Signarama Joondalup in WA.
