Australian Franchise News – 07-06-12
Less than 12 months since Seven Gourmet Takeaway debuted in Western Australia, the fast food retail brand has opened a second Perth location in Midland Gate Shopping Centre.
Seven Gourmet Takeaway is a part of the Aktiv Brands group, along with Bucking Bull Roast & Grill, Skewerz Kebabz and The Kebab Co.
“We’re definitely looking to WA as a potential region of growth,” said Aktiv Brands Managing Director, Stuart Beechen.
Aktiv Brands has spent the last 10 years perfecting their franchise model in Bucking Bull and are now successfully applying this model to their other brands.
The new store is the result of considerable investment in market research, brand development and product trialing.
The Midland location marks the 43rd store in the franchise group’s portfolio, with other Perth locations currently in the works.
“Perth and Midland Gate in particular have proven to hold great potential for our brands, especially as customers have become more selective about their food choices,” Mr Beechen said.
Midland Gate Centre Manager, Graham Hahn has a thorough understanding of the local community and also believes Seven will continue to be well received by customers.
“We are thrilled to welcome Seven as the latest addition to our Midland Gate Food Court,” he said.
“I think our customers are becoming more and more discerning about their food and lifestyle choices and se7en ticks all off the right boxes with a great reputation for using tasty, gourmet ingredients.”
The expansion is set to continue for Aktiv Brands, not only with the new Seven store locations, but with the role out of the new Skewerz Kebabz stores across Queensland and Western Australia.
