Buying into Mr Rental franchise pays off for husband and wife team

Franchisee Tony Vaea is celebrating his decision to start his own Mr Rental businesses with wife Sharon after increasing turnover five times in their Beenleigh and Logan stores.

 

Mr Vaea was so impressed with the international home appliance and rental franchise he resigned from his job as Mr Rental Franchise Director to open his own stores three years ago.

 

“An opportunity to increase business for an existing Mr Rental franchise arose and I decided it was too good a deal to pass up,” he said.

 

“There was scope for an existing multi-territory franchise store that was operating from a single outlet in Salisbury, to service the entire southern corridor of the Brisbane Metropolitan area. I thought there was no better way for a franchisor board member to prove the value of the franchise system than to roll up my sleeves and become a franchisee.”

 

The Vaea’s opened their Mr Rental Logan store in 2007 and six months later another Mr Rental outlet in Beenleigh.

 

It’s been a wise move, with the Vaea’s businesses experiencing significant growth on a per annum basis.

 

Mr Vaea attributed their business success to a strong understanding of the franchise system and an extremely supportive franchisor.

 

“After four years of working on the franchisor board of directors, I gained a pretty good understanding of how the franchise system works within Mr Rental,” he said.

 

“We are now one of the largest multi territory stores in the network, in terms of turnover and size, and we’ll continue to grow with the recent refurbishment of our Logan retail showroom offering a wider range of lifestyle products.”

 

The Logan Mr Rental showroom now allows customers to view an extensive range of rental products before renting.

 

Mr Rental provides low-cost lifestyle solutions and rentals for furniture, white goods, TV’s/DVD’s, gaming, fitness and office equipment.  

 

The Mr Rental Logan showroom is located at 19 Station Rd Logan Central, QLD and is open from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. Mr Rental Logan services to suburbs on the south side of Brisbane through to the Coomera river.

 

The Beenleigh Mr Rental store is located at 6/102 York St, Beenleigh and is open Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
