With Australians still looking to keep a tight rein on their household budgets, the nation’s second largest pizza maker Eagle Boys Pizza is now offering to feed the family for under $20.

The new Dinner Saver Meal Deal includes two large classic pizzas, a garlic bread and “Dessert Thingie” from $19.95 pick-up and is available from 1 February 2010.

Eagle Boys Managing Director Todd Clayton said the Dinner Saver Meal Deal catered to Australian families wanting to enjoy great-tasting pizza, but save money.

“After Christmas and the summer holidays, household budgets are usually pretty tight. And while families may not be heading out for dinner, they’re still looking for a treat and a night out of the kitchen,” he said.

“The Dinner Saver Meal Deal comes at a time when families are back into their routine – the parents are back to work and the children are back at school.   This complete dinner package lightens the load on families, saving them time and money.

“Importantly, Eagle Boys delivers without compromising on quality.   Australian families are looking to feed the family without breaking the bank. People don’t want to pay and simply can’t afford to pay $20+ for a single pizza. It’s ridiculous.”

Eagle Boys Pizza is one of Australia’s largest pizza makers and is 100% Australian-owned. It operates more than 290 franchised stores throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory, employing more than 4,000 staff and making more than 16 million pizzas a year.

Eagle Boys Pizza was named the nation’s 2008 Supreme Retailer by the National Retail Association and received the Best Franchise award for the second consecutive year.
