EAGLE Boys Pizza will sweeten up their charity involvement by donating $1 from every dessert sold this week (June 18 – 25) to Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

The Australian owned franchise hopes to raise more than $20,000 for Cerebral Palsy Alliance to fund research into cerebral palsy prevention, cure and intervention.

Eagle Boys Pizza Chief Marketing Officer Stacey Thorpe said the Eagle Boys fundraiser was a fantastic opportunity for customers to treat themselves while supporting a great cause.“Enjoy something sweet while knowing that you are benefitting many Australians who live with cerebral palsy,” she said.

$1 from each dessert in the Eagle Boys Pizza extensive range will go towards Cerebral Palsy Alliance. The Dessert Thingies on offer include; Apple Crumble, Strawberry White Choc and Triple Choc, along with the Choc Mud Pot, Choc Fudge Mousse, Vanilla Bean Ice-Cream and “Profiterizza”.

Cerebral Palsy Alliance Partnerships Manager Tracey Jordan said the people supported by Cerebral Palsy Alliance were grateful that organisations such as Eagle Boys gave their support.

“We are delighted by the support of all Eagle Boys stores throughout Australia and are looking forward to the latest dessert fundraiser promotion,” Ms Jordan said.

“As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on our strong corporate partnerships that enable us to continue our important research into cerebral palsy prevention, cure and intervention.”

Eagle Boys began their affiliation with Cerebral Palsy Alliance in July 2011, as part of a three-year partnership, with the aim of donating over $210,000 to the organisation.

Ms Thorpe said the Eagle Boys team was committed to supporting Cerebral Palsy Alliance with their research into prevention, cure and intervention.

“As an Australian-owned organisation, it is a high priority for Eagle Boys Pizza to help the community by supporting important organisations such as Cerebral Palsy Alliance,” Ms Thorpe said. “Our three year sponsorship commitment allows us time to really make a difference.”

The dessert fundraiser is part of Eagle Boys Pizza’s largest promotion in the network’s 25-year history of delivering real, hot, freshly-made pizza to customers across Australia.

Eagle Boys Pizza and Coca-Cola are “bringing the fans together for footy” with an eight-week promotion, Your Big Score.
