In a thrilling moment for the Gelatissimo family, Gelatissimo has won the 34th Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Excellence Award 2012 in the Retail, Wholesale, Import and Export category.
The Award was judged on Gelatissimo’s leadership capabilities, networking, planning and the implementation of successful business innovations and strategies, along with the company’s environmental sustainability and community participation.
In the presence of his proud Calabrian parents, Franco and Pina and wife Carlii, Joint CEO, Domenico Lopresti, accepted the Award on behalf of Gelatissimo, acknowledging that although the business is an Australian franchise taking gelato to the world, it has an Italian heart.
Gelatissimo Australia’s largest gelato franchise Joint-CEOs and brothers Domenico and Marco draw on their Italian heritage and a work ethic demonstrated to them first hand as they grew up in their family’s suburban trattoria.
