Big branding! Love working with power tools and working hard for myself – not the man!
What did you do before taking up a franchise?
Butcher/Bricklayer
How did you raise the finance?
Sold some big boy toys and used my savings
What training and support did you receive initially and ongoing?
2 weeks book work in the office and 6 weeks on site
What is a typical day for you as a franchisee?
Customer Relations/Building Fences/few Phone calls and a little bit of Book work.
What challenges have you faced?
Many building challenges but nothing a phone call for advice can’t fix.
Has becoming a franchisee changed your life, if so how?
Working hard always in life making others money now I do it for myself and enjoy the freedom of my own hours.
What marketing/promotional tools do you use to grow your franchise?
Doing your building 100% every time and getting work of mouth. Uniforms and clean, neat signage on truck/trailer.
What differentiates your franchise from the competition?
We all help each other out!
In your opinion, what makes a successful franchisee?
Support/Training, but most of all having the right mind frame to win!
What advice would you give to someone thinking of buying their first franchise?
It’s a big decision but you can only get out what you are willing to put in. You won’t look back!
What are your plans for the future?
Upgrade to Truck and Dingo, put somebody on to work for me.
