Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar has launched three new pizzas inspired by flavours from across the globe, and is celebrating by asking customers to pay it forward – with complimentary pizza.
Customers who order one of Crust’s new pizzas online will be able to send their friend an SMS with a voucher so they can receive their own complimentary pizza delivered. The good karma comes right on back – once they ‘Pizza it Forward’ to their friend, the customer is entered into the draw to win one year’s supply of Crust pizza.
Crust believes pizza should always be shared, so the brand invented ‘Pizza It Forward’ – a way to literally share the Crust experience said Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar General Manager Renee North.
“Pizza It Forward is our way of letting our customers pay it forward, only with pizza,” said Ms North.
“We are encouraging our customers to surprise their friends with free pizza, and in turn, they could be surprised with free pizza themselves – it’s called pizza karma!”
To Pizza It Forward, customers just need to include one of Crust’s new pizzas – Moorish Lamb, Sriracha Beef or Kimchi BBQ Chicken – in their online order, and they will be prompted to enter a friend’s contact details.
The lucky friend will instantly be surprised with a text message containing a URL to redeem their complimentary medium pizza, and can choose from any of Crusts three new pizzas. They can also add other products to their order before they check out.
“We can’t wait to hear stories of Crust fans who are Pizza-ing it Forward across the country!” said Ms North.
The Moorish Lamb, Sriracha Beef and Kimchi BBQ Chicken pizzas are available nationally, each featuring slow-cooked pulled meats.
Based on the popular pulled proteins often associated with street food fare, Crust’s new range pays homage to delicious street-style food truck trends with simple, handheld food that is typically light on the number of ingredients but big on flavour.
