A Pizza Capers Business Development Manager has been selected as a 2015 finalist for Field Manager of the Year in the Franchise Council of Australia’s Queensland Excellence in Franchising Awards.
With twenty years’ experience in the hospitality and retail managements sectors, Matthew White is now passing his wisdom on to the next generation of Pizza Capers franchisees.
“I currently oversee twenty-four franchises reaching from South Brisbane to Port Macquarie,” Matthew said.
“I love working with each franchisee to tailor their store around their goals and help them get the most out of their business.
Matthew said he is honoured to be nominated for the award and he is very proud to be representing the brand at this level.
“It’s very rewarding to be nominated and to have my work recognised, and I am thrilled to be named a finalist,” Matthew said.
Matthew will be judged on six main criteria including his responsibilities, influence, training and coaching in his role.
“I’m a big believer in accountability and responsibility, and therefore ensure that I’m always available for my franchisees,” Matthew said.
Judging for the Field Manager of the Year category is in progress, with the winner to be announced at the Awards Gala dinner held on Monday 8 February.
