The Gloria Jean’s Coffees family took home two prestigious awards at the Excellence in Franchising Awards – held at the 2010 FCA Gala Awards Dinner.

Julia Humphreys (pictured), Campaign Marketing Manager at Gloria Jean’s Coffees was on hand to accept the Excellence in Marketing Award – Winner and the International Franchising Award – Merit award.

Organised by the Franchise Council of Australia, the Excellence in Franchising Awards recognise and reward excellence and provide a platform for companies and individuals to showcase the amazing work they are doing in the franchising sector.

The Excellence in Marketing Award is presented for strategy and execution of a marketing program within a franchise system and is judged on the sophistication of the planning process, the buy-in of franchisees and other stakeholders as well as the results.
Gloria Jean’s Coffees won for an integrated Above the Line and Below the Line campaign with Australia’s Got Talent.

Matthew Button, Global Creative Manager at Gloria Jean’s Coffees said: “We are thrilled to take home the Excellence in Marketing Award. It really is a testament to the dedication and talent of the team, but most importantly, to every one of our Franchise Partners who ensured the campaign was delivered brilliantly in our Coffee Houses across Australia.”

The International Franchising Award is presented to a company demonstrating excellence in implementation of international expansion strategy. Gloria Jean’s Coffees now has over 480 coffee houses in Australia and has opened over 1,000 coffee houses across 39 markets worldwide.
