Australian-owned, global coffee brand, Gloria Jean’s Coffees has announced the appointment of Kane Bodiam as Global Drinks Development Manager.

Most recently an Espresso Technical Expert at Douwe Egberts, Kane began his career as a coffee entrepreneur in 2002 where he was a founder of two companies, a coffee school, the National

Of his appointment as Gloria Jean’s Coffees Global Drinks Development Manager, Kane said

“My passion for coffee stems from working in my mother’s restaurant at the age of 12. My lifelong ambition is to create the perfect espresso, which led me to this role at Gloria Jean’s Coffees because of their commitment to serving the highest, handcrafted quality coffee. I have no doubt my new role will help me to achieve this.’

Matthew Button, Global Creative Director commented “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Kane to the team. He has extensive experience in the coffee and hospitality industry, as well as a mechanical and engineering background, and this role creatively moulds both passions together. “
