From this month Eagle Boys Pizza?s Express store network will undergo a „reinvigorating? store fitout and menu makeover in the biggest revamp the Express brand has seen since rolling out five years ago.

Located in airports, service stations, convenience stores and other high-traffic areas, Express stores are independently-branded kiosks which serve pizza to customers on the go.
The new Hoyts Penrith and existing Gold Coast and Perth airport stores will be the first to champion the new Express model, with the new design to feature at all 47 existing Express stores within the next 12 months.

Like the new Standard store model, the new Express store design utilises branding elements like natural wood panelling and photographic images to reflect the Eagle Boys “Real” brand, and includes inbuilt fridges and a repositioned menu board.

To better cater to pizza lovers and capitalise on the latest in technology and design, the new Express stores will not only look different but have an enhanced menu of seven-inch personal pizzas and complementary items.

Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton said the move catered to customer demand for greater choice and convenience, and would see two of Eagle Boys? key store models better align to drive the Eagle Boys brand.

“Consumer and franchisee research during the past 12 months has shown customers on the go still want a broader range of menu items to cover all parts of their day,” he said.

“That?s why we?re now taking our Standard store three-tiered menu approach to all Express stores, selecting a range of our Traditional and Gourmet flavoured pizzas to appear on new seven-inch mid-style pizza bases, alongside a selection of side items like potato skins and desserts.

“The top 10 pizzas sold nationally in our 300 Standard stores have been chosen for the Express menu and include three gourmet pizzas – Butchers Block, Gourmet Vegetarian and Chicken Club.

“The move ensures consistency of products and toppings across the Eagle Boys network enabling customers to enjoy the same high-quality pizzas and experience when they visit our Express stores.”

Eagle Boys Pizza is Australia?s second largest pizza maker and is 100 per cent Australian-owned. It operates more than 340 franchised stores throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, the ACT and the Northern Territory, employing more than 8,000 staff and making more than 18 million pizzas a year.
