Mr Rental Rockhampton has relocated to the Northside to take advantage of the retail expansion and growth taking place in the area.
Queensland Business Coach Grant Stapleton said customers would benefit from the move, with the store increasing its total floor size from 145 to 215 square metres incorporating a 55 square metre showroom. The new showroom displays the range of products in lifestyle settings.
Mr Stapleton said the Mr Rental Rockhampton was part of the Mr Rental home appliance rental franchise that now has 79 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Stapleton said the easy access of the Stocklands shopping centre and the growth of the Northside Plaza were key factors behind the relocation.
“The new showroom is in the middle of what is becoming a major retail hub,” he said.
“The Southside store was located in more of an industrial area as opposed to a retail area, which made it hard to let the community know we were out there.”
“We also had much smaller premises so only could hold a limited amount of goods in stock. Now with the increased floor space customers can see and test out the entire range.”
He said the new showroom would increase awareness of the Mr Rental concept in the lead in to Christmas.
Mr Rental provides low-cost lifestyle solutions and rentals for furniture, white goods, TV’s/DVD’s, gaming, fitness and office equipment.
The Mr Rental showroom is located at 217 Musgrave St, North Rockhampton 4700 and will be open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
