Poolwerx franchise to launch media initiative

POOLWERX, Australia’s largest pool and spa care network have undertaken a new $1.7 million media initiative with Top 20 program Australia’s Funniest Home Videos to enhance its brand image and awareness.
 
John O’Brien PoolWerx CEO said the innovative new campaign, featuring a sponsored television segment, was aimed at dramatically increasing top of mind awareness with consumers.
 
“We are really excited about the opportunity to join forces with Australia’s Funniest Home Videos and reach over 1 million viewers per week,” he said. “We identified an opportunity to be part of the program and approached the station directly about it. It’s a fantastic opportunity for PoolWerx to increase its market share and maintain awareness all year round.”
 
PoolWerx has secured sponsorship of the ‘funniest pool moments segment.
 
Mr O’Brien said it was a new approach in regards to marketing strategy but the potential to reach new customers had been the key driver of the initiative.
 
“It will be one of the largest advertising pushes we have ever undertaken and it promises to be a very interesting and entertaining campaign.”
 
The PoolWerx Australia’s Funniest Home Videos campaign will run until October 2010.
