Price Attack is just one of many long-term retailers that has established itself in the Elizabeth Shopping Centre for the past 21 years.
Owner Mary Mancini began her business as a nail and beauty salon in 1989, but has operated as Price Attack since the stores grand opening on 28th February 1991.
In an interview with the local Adelaide Messenger newspaper, Mary says she has always enjoyed working and building her business at the Elizabeth Shopping Centre and has never considered working anywhere else.
“I can’t say in 21 years that I’ve had a bad experience here,” said Mary. “The people are nice and it’s a good area; I’ve always liked it in Elizabeth.”
Mary recalls her best experience in the centre during her store’s official opening.
“We held the record for the biggest store opening for any Price Attack in Australia at the time.”
“We had to let people in a couple at a time because it was so busy!” she said.

During this period, Price Attack underwent a rebranding, which is currently being rolled out across of Australia. Mary also spoke of her initial resistance to change, although in hind sight she is very grateful that the risk was taken to modernise and move forward…
