Australian Franchise News – 03-07-12
In a first for the signage industry, the team from SIGNARAMA Joondalup won the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) Franchisee of the Year award (WA – two or more staff) in recognition of their continued double-digit growth in its 12 year history. The team led by managing director Craig Mason and business partners Shane Craig and Richard Angerson were previously inducted into the SIGNARAMA Hall of Fame in 2010. They continue to implement various strategies to improve efficiency in sales and production of their facility at SIGNARAMA Joondalup. The award is a great boost for the signage industry and for the SIGNARAMA brand.
Craig Mason and his partners registered a growth rate of 47% in 2011. The implementation of cloud computing at their facility allowed them to increase productivity and do their bit for the environment by going paperless. The Perth-based franchise recently received Level 2 Green Stamp Accreditation in recognition to their commitment to maintaining environmentally friendly production and operation facilities. This made them the first sign writing business in Australia to receive Green Stamp certification. The Joondalup franchisee offers a variety of signage products and services designed with the latest sign making technology.
The award presented to the Joondalup team this year is in addition to numerous other awards which includes the 2010 Franchise Business of the Year award at the 2010 ECU North West Metro Small Business Awards in Perth. A year earlier they were also the recipients of the Franchise Business of the Year (North West Metro Small Business Award). The team attributes their success to the hard work and efforts of all the staff involved and continue to produce the best-quality signage and signs in Perth.
