Emma Hope is a winner. The young salesperson from SIGNARAMA Sunshine Coast South has been awarded 2009 National Salesperson of the Year for her outstanding sales results. She was presented with the award at the group’s Expo at Jupiter’s last month.
“I was surprised and delighted,” she said. “I don’t think of myself as a great salesperson, I just enjoy what I do.”
Emma’s boss, SIGNARAMA storeowner David Bodkin disagrees with her assessment of her skills. “Emma is very important part of our business and we’re delighted that she won such a prestigious award,” he says. “It reflects on her hard work and commitment and we’re very proud of her.”
SIGNARAMA is the world’s largest signage group with more than 850 stores worldwide and around 90 stores nationally. Emma won her award against more than other sales people in Australia.
“I guess this sets the bar pretty high,” says Emma. “However in the end, you can only do well in sales if you have a great product to sell.”
