SumoSalad – Australia’s leading healthy fast food franchise – has launched a digital campaign to encourage its customers to declare they are #4FreeRange. The announcement comes after SumoSalad made the switch to free-range chicken across its entire menu earlier this year, in response to growing consumer concern for animal welfare.

The campaign, which rolls out across the brand’s social and digital assets, will educate consumers on why SumoSalad is #4FreeRange. Owner and co-founder of SumoSalad, Luke Baylis will also feature in a video, discussing his passion for fresh high quality produce.

“We are really excited about this digital campaign, on a topic our customers are very passionate about – the welfare of animals,” says Luke.

As a result, our latest digital campaign aims to not only engage, but also communicate the facts behind free-range. We’ve been able to tell this story in a creative and educational way, so that our customers are well-informed on what they are eating at our stores,” he added.

This campaign will provide an easy way for franchisees to educate and engage with customers on the topic of free-range chickens. The brand has teamed up with ambassador Pete Evans to help encourage consumers to declare their support #4FreeRange.

Video Content: To help communicate facts about free-range chicken to consumers, SumoSalad will release its first video across the brands Facebook page and website. The video will help inform consumers about the facts around switching to free-range chicken.

SumoSociety & Facebook Engagement: Throughout the campaign, SumoSalad is engaging its
75,000+ loyalty members and Facebook fans across Australia with bespoke, never before revealed,
free-range chicken recipes from Pete Evans.

Consumer Promotion: To drive awareness and encourage consumers to declare their support
#4FreeRange, SumoSalad are offering fans the chance to win a Pete Evans and SumoSalad prize pack valued at $1,000. To enter the promotion, fans simply have to post a free-range chicken recipe to their social media channels and hashtag ‘#4FreeRange’.
