Within 48 hours of launching their new e-recruitment website, Domino’s Pizza received more than 1,300 job applications for team member positions across its 434 Australian stores.

With more than 2,500 jobs currently available Domino’s CEO Don Meij said he was thrilled with the quick response by people wanting to join Domino’s.

“We launched dominosjobs.com.au on Tuesday and already we have seen more than 1,300 applications lodged through the e-recruitment site,” Mr Meij said.

“There are a lot of people out there searching for jobs, so it’s fantastic to see so many quality applications submitted through our site already.

“We are still on the lookout to fill more than 2,500 jobs so the next step is for us to process the applications and get the successful people into a Domino’s uniform as quickly as possible.”

For the first time ever, prospective job applicants will be able to logon to dominosjobs.com.au to find out exactly what it’s like to work for Domino’s, view current job vacancies and play an interactive delivery driver game to show ‘it’s more fun with us’.

While providing all relevant employment information for job applications, dominosjobs.com.au also equips franchisees and store managers with all the relevant tools to recruit staff effectively and quickly at a store level.

Mr Meij said the new e-recruitment website was about strengthening the Domino’s employer brand.

“We want to be an employer of choice and the new website will definitely build our brand amongst young, vibrant people who are the cornerstone of our business,” Mr Meij said.

“Domino’s is a fun place to work and learn new things, but until now we haven’t had the tools to share this information with future team members.”

Dominosjobs.com.au includes real-life videos of what it’s like to work at Domino’s, frequently asked questions about the different roles and responsibilities and a fun, interactive game users can share with their friends.

Domino’s pays highly competitive wages, additional delivery fees, offers flexible hours to suit students, parents and people with diverse lifestyles as well as the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications.
