An Australian Franchisee Case Study
MR Rental Capalaba franchisees Greg and Natalie Nash have beaten over 40 other franchises across Australia to win the “Above the Line” award at the Mr Rental conference held recently.
Mr and Mrs Nash won the national award for their consistently high operating results, commitment to community service and dedication to the network culture, other franchisees and customers.
Mr Nash’s award win tops off his recent string of business achievements, including selection to the exclusive Mr Rental ‘V’ team of leading franchisees and his third place win for Mr Rental Capalaba in the Franchise of the Year awards held by the Franchise Council of Australia recently.
Mr Nash said he was honoured to receive the “Above Line Award” for the second year in a row and for the third time in six years.
“We were extremely proud to be recognised at the FCA awards as having the third top franchise but to win the top Mr Rental award out of 40 other dedicated franchisees is an honour,” he said.
Mr Nash attributed his recent wins to the commitment to the culture of courtesy, manners and respect and a strong emphasis on old-fashioned customer service.
“It’s important to be attentive to customer needs – answering questions and giving help when necessary,” he said.
“We really focus on engaging and connecting with our customers and I think this attitude is the key to our success at the recent awards as well in our business generally.”
Mr Nash said the Mr Rental franchise model stood out as offering beneficial services to the community.
“Mr Rental is also involved in a lot of charity event fundraising and it’s great to be able to contribute in this way. We are also happy we can provide much needed, affordable rentals to people in the area.”
Mr Nash said he planned to expand his operations over the next 12 months including further development of their Coorparoo showroom.
